Implementing and consulting project partners who accompany the technical dialogue procedurally and with expert knowledge are IFOK and the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment, Energy. IFOK is responsible for the conceptional preparation and implementation of the technical dialogue. The Wuppertal Institute is integrated as scientific partner in the process and structures the knowledge found to a common knowledge basis.

IFOK is the market leader in communications and strategic consulting for participation processes. For 15 years IFOK has accompanied customers from the public sector, the industry and the civil society in structuring change processes through participation. The Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment, Energy is one of the leading scientific institutions in the field of sustainable environmental and energy research. It develops models, strategies and instruments for transitions to a sustainable development at regional, national and international level. It is focussed on resource, climate and energy challenges in their interaction with industry and society. The analysis and induction of innovations for the decoupling of consumption of natural resources and development of wealth are in the centre of its research work. In this context the Institute places particular value on the fact that the research findings are tailored to the requirements of the target groups. With this expertise the Wuppertal Institute accompanies the technical dialogue for the development of the mobility and fuels strategy of the Federal Government as the scientific expert partner.
