Emblem of the 2nd BMVI Start-Up Pitch

On 1 August 2017, the 2nd BMVI Start-up Pitch will take place in the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) in Berlin. After a successful start in March 2017, selected founders, young entrepreneurs and start-ups will again have the opportunity to present their digital business ideas from the sphere of mobility to high-level representatives of large enterprises that frequently invest in start-ups. We will shortly inform you about the jury’s composition for the 2nd BMVI Start-up Pitch.
In addition, the three most innovative teams will have the chance to receive financial support totalling 10,000 euros from the mFUND for the implementation of their ideas.
Founders, young entrepreneurs and start-ups with a concrete application or an elaborated idea from the fields of Mobility 4.0, digital innovation or open data can apply.
The ideas will be assessed using three criteria:

  • Innovation: the idea includes new elements or connects existing processes, products or services. The approach is innovative.
  • Relevance: the idea contributes in an effective way to a topical issue and offers the prospect of economic and/or societal exploitability.
  • Persuasive power: the idea is presented in a structured and understandable way and impresses through the quality of elaboration of its contents.

Applications can be sent to the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure via until 3 July 2017.

Interested visitors are welcome to participate. Participation is free of charge.

Admission starts at 16:30 hrs, and the competition will begin at 17:00 hrs.
